Managing your subscription
Cancel, change tier, or request a refund from your iPhone:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
- Tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions.
- Select ScanBite to cancel, change, or view the next renewal date.
Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Restoring a previous purchase
If you reinstalled ScanBite or switched devices, open the paywall and tap Restore Purchases at the bottom. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you originally subscribed with.
HealthKit and permissions
ScanBite can read and write weight, body measurements, nutrition, and water through Apple Health. To review or change what ScanBite can access: Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → ScanBite.
Food scan didn't recognize my meal
Good lighting and a clear top-down angle help a lot. If the identification is off, tap the entry and edit the food name or portion — ScanBite gets better the more corrections you make.
Deleting your data
Because ScanBite does not require an account, your log lives on your device. Deleting the app also deletes all locally stored meals, plans, and settings. For data synced to Apple Health, see Settings → Health to remove entries there.
